New Gears of War Map Pack on May 3

Microsoft announced today a new Multiplayer Map Pack for Gears of War. Called "Hidden Fronts," the multiplayer map release will contain four new locations. It can be downloaded on Thursday, May 3, at 9 AM GMT, for 800 Microsoft points.

Hidden Fronts' four maps include Bullet Marsh, dealing with a Kryll-infested swamp, and Garden, a conservatory with a pesticide system on the fritz. The two other maps are Process, where teams must fight for control of a subterranean Imulsion processing plant, and Subway, where COG soldiers and Locust engage in Timgad's Central Subway.

Also, for gamers who are patient, the Hidden Fronts Multiplayer Map Pack will be available for free over Xbox Live on September 3, 2007.
